5. Click on "Check Mock Result" If you participated in the mock exam, your mock result details will be displayed. If you did not, you will see a message "You did not seat for Mock Examination".

UNIPORT BASIC ADMISSION LIST 2017/2018

The management of University of Port-Harcourt has published the names of candidates admitted in the Basic Studies programme of the university for the 2017/2018 academic session.

RIVPOLY Admission List (ND/HND) 2017/2018 Released

The management of Kenule Benson Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic (KENPOLY) formerly Rivers State Polytechnic (RIVPOLY)has released its Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma Programmes (ND) full-time and part-time admission list for the 2017/2018 academic session.

JAMB 2018:Steps To Create Profile And Get ePINS{electronic-PINS}

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has published the Registration Steps and Guidelines for the forth coming UTME.

Please note that 2018 UTME Registration has NOT commenced. It is expected to commence November 22nd, 2017.

However, you are to get your self acquainted with the these guidelines before registration commences.

Profile Creation from Home by Candidates Using Cellphones – Text (SMS):
1. Sends his/her Surname, First Name & Middle Name (where applicable). This should be maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces between names = 40 characters in all to JAMB short code of 55019
2. One cell number (mobile number) can be used by one candidate only
3. A confirmation code of 10 characters is received by the candidate on the same telephone number which will be used to procure the ePIN

PROFILE SELF HELP IN CASE OF MISTAKE / LOSS
To correct a mistake in candidate’s name, resend a text message (from the registered number) “CORRECT Surname First name Middlename” to 55019
To retrieve a lost confirmation code, resend a text message (from the registered number) “RESEND” to 55019 .

JAMB Sale of 2018 UTME application forms begins November 22

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the date for the commencement of the 2018 sales of registration form.

This was disclosed by Prof. Oloyede during a meeting in Abuja with the heads of tertiary institutions and other stakeholders involved in the conduct of the UTME exam.

According to him, the 2018 sales of UTME Form will begin by November 22nd, 2017 and will run till January 22, 2018. 

The Board also announced that its mock exams will run from between January 22 and 27, 2018.

The registrar also stated that the board would introduce electronic jammers at all Computer Based Centres as additional measures have been put in place at ensuring the integrity of the examination

JAMB encouraged candidates interested in mock exam to register on or before December 31 and also indicate interest during the registration so they could be allowed to sit for the mock exam.

The registration fee for Nigerian candidates is fixed at Five Thousand Naira (N5000) while the registration for foreign candidates has been slashed from over 100 dollars to 20 dollars.

He mentioned that some changes have been put in place to strengthen the credibility of the exam system.

“For instance, the Board has eliminated the use emails during registration and replaced it with the use of telephone numbers for easy and secured interaction with the candidates.” He added.

He noted that the Board has penciled down about 620 Computer Based Centres (CBT), for the registration of candidates.

FUTO Supplementary Admission Form 2017/2018


The Management of Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has announced supplementary admission for 2017/2018 academic session.

Those who applied for admission and were not admitted in the Merit list are advised to purchase the supplementary form.

SPDC-JV University Scholarship Scheme For Nigerians - 2018



Applications are invited for the SPDC-JV University Scholarship Scheme which is offered by The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (Operator of the NNPC/SPDC /TEPNG/AGIP Joint Venture). 

This scholarship program is provided to Nigerians who have interest in pursuing an Undergraduate degree program in any Nigerian University.

This scholarship is in two categories – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award.

(i) National Merit Award (NM) Open to all Nigerians.

(ii) Areas of Operation Merit Award For Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC’s operational area in Abia, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and Rivers States

Application Deadline: Wednesday December 20, 2017.

Eligibility

- Applicants must be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

- Applicants must be registered FULL TIME undergraduates in 

- Applicants must be a student of an accredited and approved University in Nigeria

- Applicants must have a minimum of five credits, at one sitting, including O/Levels Mathematics and English

- Applicants must have a minimum of 200 score in UTME

- Applicants must be in 200 level with a minimum grade CGPA of 2.5

Application Process

Interested applicants are advised to take the following:

- All applicants should have their personal valid email account (for consistent communication).

- All applications must be done online, via https://www.spdc-jv-scholarship.shell.com/ to apply

- Scanned copies of letters of identification, (which must be duly stamped and signed) by: 
i)The Paramount Ruler of the Community; 
ii)The Chairman of the Community Development or Executive Council (CDC or CEC). 

This is also required of applicants for the Operational Area Awards. The letters should be addressed to The Manager, Social Investment, Shell Petroleum Development Company, Port Harcourt.

a) There will be no selection test (selection is based on combined academic performance) and ONLY shortlisted candidates will be contacted
b) Shell does not demand payment from applicants and does not assign ‘agents’ or ‘representatives’ to assist applicants.
